Our Mission

We have a simple, but robust mission: to support and empower women globally, to become all God has called them to be. We focus on the whole woman by encouraging community support, providing educational and business opportunities, stimulating spiritual awareness, securing health care, and providing temporary financial support until she can stand on her own.

Why do we educate women?

Our Ministry

ABOUT US

Although our first projects reach back to October 2012, Women InSpirit, Inc., as a 501(c)3 nonprofit

organization, has been incorporated since February 2015. This ministry started when founder, Maribeth Anderson,

attended a women's conference in Ghana in 2012. While there, she  met a single mother with a young child who had a desire to help educate countless single teen mothers in the Upper East Region of Ghana. For Maribeth, a desperate need was seen and a desire to fulfill it was born. Through that original seed, Women InSpirit’s mission has evolved. We are a board of women who believe and desire to make a bold productive impact on the lives of young women in abject poverty through education and small business prospects.

Since 2012 we have served over 150 students, ages 2-40.
